Systems that are still running.

"To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete." — Buckminster Fuller

Fifteen years of custom platforms — architected, shipped, and operated across regulated and complex domains. Here's the pattern behind the work, a few projects we can talk about, and the technology that got the results.

The through-line

Different industries. Same pattern. A critical operation was running on spreadsheets, manual paperwork, or five tools that don't talk to each other — and we turned it into one system that runs itself, then stayed to operate it. Lately we do it AI-augmented — faster, without giving up the senior judgment that makes a system last.

Does this sound like you?

If you recognize the problem,
we've probably shipped the fix.

"We're running a real operation on spreadsheets."
A custom back-office system the whole team shares — schedules, projects, field data, reporting — in place of the patchwork.
"Our product is buried in manual paperwork & compliance."
An automated quote-to-approval flow — API integrations, e-signature, payments — cleared through the real compliance gates.
"Our best process lives in one person's head."
Your proprietary method, productized into software your team can actually run — and sell.
"We need to ship something ambitious — fast."
An AI-augmented MVP architected to scale instead of collapse — shipped fast enough to move investors.

A few we can talk about.

Enterprise-grade systems across regulated and complex domains — each one took a fragile, manual, or scattered process and turned it into software people run their day on.

Creator-Monetization Social Network

A venture-backed “Patreon, but social” — creator video, direct messaging, and payments at a high bar — where we led the AWS architecture and wrangled a brand-new team to a stable MVP.

Problem

A zero-to-one startup with a strong idea but no clear path to ship it — fast, on a tight budget, to a high bar across video distribution, real-time messaging, and payments, and with a team assembled from scratch that had never worked together.

Built

The client brought us in for principal-level discipline — not a finished team. We led the AWS serverless architecture and coordinated that newly-assembled crew, wrangling disparate skillsets into a workable delivery model as much as bringing the infrastructure chops to make it ship as one seamless product — emerging AI tooling speeding the work, us as the principal human in the loop.

Outcome

A stable MVP that debuted to an audience of thousands at a major convention.

WageArmor

Turned slow, manual income-protection underwriting into a clean online quote → approve → e-sign flow anyone can finish in one sitting.

Problem

Income-protection insurance meant manual underwriting and paperwork — a high-stakes, heavily regulated process that kept people from getting covered.

Built

A digital quote-to-approval platform, architected and shipped solo from day zero. The hard part: a 30-question reflexive decision map — branching logic that had to satisfy a national carrier's electronic-underwriting API exactly, yet stay simple enough that an everyday applicant could move through it without getting lost. Wired through to embedded DocuSign signing and Stripe capture.

Outcome

Quote → underwrite → e-sign → approval, fully online — compliance-cleared directly with the carrier's own engineering team.

Precision StoreWorks

Replaced a nationwide, multi-crew operation run on spreadsheets with one shared system the home office and field crews live in every day.

Problem

Traveling crews running overnight construction and fixture resets inside national big-box stores — a coast-to-coast, multi-crew operation being run on spreadsheets.

Built

A custom back-office ERP: scheduling, projects, travel assignments, training, field data capture, completion-photo workflows, and reporting — shared in real time between HQ and crews across regions.

Outcome

One role-based system replacing the spreadsheets — built and operated for 10+ years and counting.

Consulting Execution Platform

Took a consultant's execution methodology — locked in her head and capped at her own hours — and turned it into software her clients run themselves.

Problem

A consultancy's proprietary methodology — scoring, two-week sprints, KPI tracking — lived only in its non-technical founder's head, capped at the hours she could personally deliver.

Built

A project-execution SaaS that turns her framework into working software, built in close partnership to keep it intuitive — scoring/prioritization, sprint tracking, and KPIs.

Outcome

Her IP, productized into a usable, sellable product her clients keep using on their own.

fencing.community

Gave a niche sport one modern home — guides, streaming, and slow-motion bout replay you can review from your phone.

Problem

A niche sport's knowledge, content, and coaching were scattered everywhere — with no modern home for fencers and coaches to learn and review.

Built

A platform built end-to-end: interactive guides, streaming content, and a tool to upload, track, and review slow-motion bout replays from mobile or desktop.

Outcome

A live platform and community — recognized via selection to the 2025–26 USA Fencing Leadership Academy.

iPlannedAhead

A virtual concierge any business can brand — mobile and curbside check-in that ends lobby wait times without a custom build.

Problem

Businesses lose customers to lobby wait times — but most can't justify a custom build to modernize check-in and pickup.

Built

A white-label “virtual concierge” — mobile and curbside check-in that lets any business manage arrivals and order pickups with simple tools, no custom development required.

Outcome

A reusable, multi-tenant SaaS any business can brand and stand up quickly.
